The Judith Coleman "Hall of Fame" Award was
originally started as the Director's "Hall of Fame" Award in 2007 to help promote the Forestry Scholarship Pageant. It
is a "Separate Entity" from the GFPEA Program. This Award was initiated by the Local Director Victoria Lovett, within her
counties, to help inspire her Local County Queens to become more involved, not only in the Forestry Program, but in the
community itself.
This Award is given to an outgoing County Forestry Prelim Queen
that represented and promoted her Title to the fullest. This Recipient went above and beyond what was originally expected
of her during her reign as Queen by making numerious appearances in parades,
at pageants, fairs, festivals, schools, civic events and any community functions.
In 2011 the title was changed from the Director's "Hall of Fame"
Award to the Judith Coleman "Hall of Fame" Award in Memory of a Wonderful and Dedicated Lady that enjoyed
being a part of the Forestry Program. She was a Beautiful Person and enjoyed being involved in Pageantry and enjoyed working
with the girls and their families. She helped coached many young ladies and instilled a friendship with them, that they will always remember.
Judith went to be with her Lord and Saviour and his Angels on
July 17, 2011 and will be remembered by many that came in contact with her.
We all will miss her deeply but her memory will live on forever!!!!
In Loving Memory
Judith Elaine Coleman
